After 25 years of searching for the legendary lock of renowned Scottish writer Sir Walter Scott's hair, Adam Marples and his reluctant daughter discover its true location and set out to Edinburgh to find it.

This film was created at Edinburgh College of Art for the competition 'Hidden Stories', where we were asked to make a film about an object in one of Edinburgh's museums. I chose Walter Scott's hair, currently displayed at The Writer's Museum. I could find no records of anyone trying to steal the hair in the past, so had to make it up myself.
